You’ll see a new button along the navigation bar that will take you to some independent revision tools for the key concepts: representation, audiences, institutions and language. Mrs Hollinshead has emailed you the password and the link as well, so try it out!
Flashcards, games, tests, matching activities and lots more!
Year 13 students will have been sent a link to open the new eLibrary. You can also access this using the link in the navigation bar above, provided you are logged into Google using the email address you gave me in class. If this doesn’t work, please let me know and we’ll fix it.
- Past Papers with ANNOTATED examiners reports covered in my notes. This is so that you can attempt the question first, and THEN look at where you could have gained marks.
- Theory lessons and notes from our lessons. If you’ve left your exercise book at home or at school, you can still access our notes.
- Current affairs and interesting stories for your MEST3 Section A.
There are lots still to come and being added every week – keep an eye out!
MEST 1 examination – 23rd May 2018 AM 2 hours
MEST 3 examination – 4th June 2018 AM 2 hours
Check out the new MEST3 pages. We have a terminology PLC, access to the exam papers we have used in our PPEs so far, a handy exam overview section and the theories and issues/debates sections are currently being constructed.
There are new research resources for MEST4 that will help you find information for your essays. Your proposal forms are also on these pages – these must be submitted in September, but I’m expecting to see a draft in the week beginning 11th July in the form of your presentation – see Show My Homework for details.
We now have the marking criteria and an advice page on timings in the exam. I have also uploaded a list of topics that the questions for section B will be taken from – make sure you can cover those in your case study.
I’ve also added the past papers that are available now, along with mark schemes and the examiners reports.
Your broadcast, print AND emedia marketing links are all live within the case study pages now. Remember to keep making your revision materials and I will add them to your page.
Welcome to the new site! The first thing we’re going to add is information about our AS case studies – each student has an individual page. If you send it to Mrs Hollinshead, she’ll add it for you and you’ll have access to it wherever you are!
Try to be creative with creating your revision tools. Here are some ideas for sites you can use to create them:
